Kwhutch - If you have time, it's best to try to acclimate your horse to the clippers, gently and reassuringly. If you don't have the time, like a lot of trainers, have someone help you by twitching him.

The baby oil probably help if the horse has dry skin too. I like to see a well groomed show horse too.

The oil sheen spray does attract dust if it is a dusty area, however, it doesn't get deep down to the skin. I simply wipe the horse off w/a towel before he goes in the ring if the warm up area is...
